Detailed Narrative Description of Project: Applying both quantitative and qualitative study techniques, the empirical method of this study encompasses the approach of garnering the data from different stakeholders. Quantitative approach indicates the community survey where the qualitative aspect includes the following techniques: KII (Key-Informant Interview), FGD (Focus Group Discussion), IDI (In-Depth Interview).

Findings of the Project: Data were analyzed, and the final report was prepared. Historically, Kotalipara, Gopalgonj and Kolapara, Potuakhali were poverty stricken and flood prone areas. One of the dreams of the Father of the Nation was to eradicate poverty from the entire Bangladesh. The Academy established in his name will continue its efforts to eradicate poverty from this area. The proposed project ‘Bangabandhu Academy for Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development’ at a cost of Tk. 34927.30 lac was found to be viable and recommended in the final Feasibility report. | ||
